More work done on the Wrokbee.
Added details to the bottom of the craft. I have created it so it could sit on top of an object that would be used for towing cargo containers. Not sure if I will model this, but if I do it will be my own design.
I have also added panels to the side of the craft. I might model some arm modules that would connect here, but I have not yet decide if I will.
I have also added some more details to the top and rear of the craft. Still more work to be done in this area.
Most of the modelling is now done, just a few more details to do and then I’ll start on the texturing.
Bullet to the Head is based upon Alexis Nolent’s French graphic novel Du Plomb Dans La Tete. The film will star Sylvester Stallone, Jason Momoa and Sung Kang.
In the film is about a hitman (Sylvester Stallone) teams with a young Washington DC detective (Sung Kang) in a high-stakes investigation that leads from dingy back alleys all the way to the power corridors of New Orleans. The unlikely duo, brought together by two vicious murders, take on all who stand in their way, willing to sacrifice everything to exact revenge.
Jason Momoa was in the resent reboot of Conan and is best know for playing Ronon Dex in Stargate Atlantis.
Sung Kang is best known for playing Han in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, as well as Fast and Furious and Fast Five. Sung Kang will appear in as Han once again in Fast Six (working title), later in 2013.
Bullet to the Head is due out in 2013.
I love what Sam Raimi did with Spider-Man back in 2002.
When I first heard that Spider-Man was getting a reboot so soon after Raimi films I was filled with dread, luckily The Amazing Spider-Man turned out to be far better than I expected.
The Amazing Spider-Man stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen, Sally Field and directed by Mark Web.
Web stay close to the source martial on how Peter Parker gets his power to become Spider-Man, while at the same time taking it in a different direction to the way Raimi did it. This is a good thing as straight way it makes both films different. Web has also decided to have Peter parents disappearing/ killed play a larger roll while not giving much away. It is hinted at the end of the film this will also play a part in the sequel that has been green lighted.
Andrew Garfield captures Peter and Spider-Man perfectly and you can see he is having fun with the role. His wise cracking as Spider-Man is not forced and is very entertaining, which was something that was very lacking form Raimi version.
Mary-Jane Watson has been replaced with Peter first true love Gwen Stacy played by Emma Stone.
Rhys Ifans played Dr. Curt Conner, who welcomes Peter. Conner lost his arm and is trying to use gene slicing of a lizard to re-grow it back. Unfortunately this turns him into the lizard, one of Spider-Man most brutal foes.
The story is a little predictable but then I am a huge fan of the comic I was expecting this. You can’t really compare it with Raimi films as it like comparing Tim Burtons Batman with Batman Begins. Both films are good but have done different things.
The only great shame with The Amazing Spider-Man is that it has been made by Columbia Pictures so any cross-over with the Marvel cinematic universe is unlikely, unless Columbia Pictures and Marvel Studios can come up with some sort of deal. But don’t expect it.
The Amazing Spider-Man is a fun wise creaking film with a mystery running in the background that leads into the next film.
I give this film 4.5 out 5.
Spider-Man: Oh, no! You have found my weakness. Small knives!
It has now been just over a year since the first trailer for GTA V was realised.
In that time there has not been much news expect a few screenshot showing different things, but still not giving anything away.
Over the last month more news has come out, giving more insight into the game.
Rockstar North is once again developing GTA. (They have developed all the pervious main GTA games.) Rockstar North has stated that the GTA V map will be the largest created to date.
Rockstar has confirmed that none of protagonists form the GTA III era will appear in the game so no Tommy Vercetti. They have also stated that Niko Bellic will not appear in the game, but some of the minor characters form GTA IV and it DLC (The Lost and Damned & The Ballad of Gay Tony) will.
It was reported early in the year the game would have three playable protagonists that the player will be able to swap between during missions and when not in a mission.
This was confirmed when the press was given access to a playable demo of the first level. This has lead to speculation that you will be able to replay a level. Something that was introduced with, The Ballad of Gay Tony DLC.
It has been announced that game will have multiplayer featuring “crews” that was introduced with Max Payne 3. Apart that nothing else has been stated.
Here is the second trailer for Grand Theft Auto V
Grand Theft Auto V is slated for Spring release.
It has been awhile since I done any 3D. As you have seen I still got projects to get back to. However I did not want to jump back into any on going project and wanted to do something quick.
So to get my juices flowing again, I thought I would do something that is simple and quick to do. So I decide to do the Star Trek Federation Work Bee, which has been seen in the movies and later in the TV shows.
The desgin has not changed muched since we first saw the craft but, I have given it a rounded shape and added impulse engines to help it move about. The cut out on the main hull will be for thrusters to go in.
Anyway here is where it currently stands.
I posted up the trailer for Halo 4: Forward unto Dawn web series, a few weeks ago.
As promised, here is all five parts.
Here is the second trailer to the next G.I. Joe film.
Hopefully this will be better than the first film. Though still enjoyable, it could have been alot better.
G.I Joe: Rataliation was put back a year due to test audiances wanting to see more of Channing Tatum, as he only in the frist act of the film.
That could be a bad thing, but it can’t be a major issue with Dwayne Johnson and Bruce Willis staring.
